The Optional Protocol and disability rights in Canada

About This Website

This website is an awareness resource designed to increase knowledge within Canada's community of people with disabilities about the Optional Protocol to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).

It was created in the year 2020 by the National Working Group for the Awareness of the Optional Protocol, which is made up of representatives from the following disability organizations:
